    Today I shopped for baby shower gifts at Carters in Langley. What a delightful experience to do my shopping with the assistance of the excellent staff. The store is the perfect place to find the quality of infant clothing that I would have dressed my own babies in. Thanks ladies for the great service.

    The manager really should have made an effort, she should have called head office to try to track the gift card, but instead we called head office ourselves and talked to the us site who said she'd look into it. The manager really should have called head office and she provided no customer service at all. I was appalled at the customer service my mom received and I am still angry (raging really). Way to disappoint Carters.

    April tenth my mombought two t shirts and a gift card as a gift for a friends daughters The cashier put everything (so we thought) in the bag and left. My mom lives in a different city (a ferry ride away included). So 11 days later she decided to wrap the gift since she was heading to see her friend. There was no gift card in the bag. My mom called the store and was told that she needed to talk to the manager. The next day she talked to her and she said she needed to email her a photo of the receipt. Which she did and the email bounced back. My mom called back and whoever answered asked who was calling and the cashier whispered "it's (insert my moms name)" obviously they were talking to her which isn't a big deal but it was the tone that was used that was unprofessional and rude. The manager said the email was correct (my mom checked and she had entered it right), the manager said that because it was past ten days she couldn't do anything and she couldn't call head office to trace the gift card to cancel and reissue or anything. She said there was nothing she could do. She said because she was past ten days, she couldn't look up the receipt... I think that's a lie. I've worked in retail and sorry but I call BS. A store manager can contact head office. They can talk about inventory, sales... anything. And in today's day and age, your gift cards aren't paper. They're electronic. There is a way that they can be traced. And also the gift card was listed as M.C. #141 or something and they told her it was mc because she paid by MasterCard which she doesn't have, so again... bs.

    NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT RECYCLE THE THOUSANDS OF PLASTIC HANGERS THEY USE A MONTH BUT INSTEAD THROW THEM IN THE TRASH BUT THE MANAGER LITERALLY VERBALLY ABUSES THE EMPLOYEES INFRONT OF CUSTOMERS.
